Scope
"This committee was established by friends or Richard Goodchild, under the auspices of the British Schools at Rome and Athens (Chairman: Professor A Hugo M Jones). Its aims were 'To propose and co-ordinate a programme of work in Libya to complete projects left unfinished by Professor Goodchild, To consider the most appropriate form for a memorial to Professor Goochild' and 'To assist the University of Libya in finding a Lecturer in Arcaheology'."
