Scope

'Notebook features number correlations for Cyrenaican Fabrics.', The notebook details the coarse ware number, fabric catalogue number, type of vessel, where found, where made and drawing sheet number, date and any additional notes. The coarse ware number (the number beginning with the C-prefix, is the most constant and core number. This number refers to the shape of the coarse ware and appears on photographs, indices and other documents referring to coarse ware types. Other numbers are subject to seemingly arbitrary change.', There are also fabrics with a serial number beginning with an A-prefix. Entries are present for ware from multiple sites including Ajedabia, Apollonia, Cyrene, Driana, Jalo, Latrun, Medina Es-Sultan, Rome, Sidi Khrebish, Tocra, Tolmeita, Zuwaytinah and others.', The latter half of the notebook features a section beginning with the title "Benghazi Codes". This section contains Type Series Codes (provisional type numbers) and summaries for computer entries. There are also brief sections relating to coding changes, drawings, Oudna, Tunisia samples Tell Rifa\'at survey and Islamic material from Carthage.'
