Scope
'Action Damage Report (No. 1280) resulting from the attack at Tripoli harbour, 19 March 1943. The report has been completed by the Commanding Officer of the H.M.S. Derwent, P.R.C. Higham, and is addressed to Commodore (D), Levant Station with a copy to be sent to four individuals, including the Naval Officer in Charge, Tripoli. Report is divided into eighteen sections and details damage done to the "Derwent" during the attack. The document is accompanied by a Staff Circulated Docket and an "Appendix A" document which provides an account of torpedoing, breaching and deliverance from fire of H.M.S. Derwent.'
