Scope
'Originally housed alongside other 1957 material, however the majority of the photographs do not contain any captions or other identifiers.', Photographs depict fragments of terracotta wares, excavated tombs and sarcophagi, excavated finds, and workers standing alongside tomb sites.', Only 4 photographs contain captions, which read:', i-iii) N.81-AC artifacts unrecorded by Rowe but visible in Plate 24(b) of Rowe II', iv) M.1098b Fragements of bell Kraterlin Cyrene which are connected with others in Manchester 1957 season. See Rowe II, Plate 32(b) published in reverse (restored by Mrs [Shelia Ord).'
