'Volume contains an index to photographs taken by Daniels during an expedition to Africa, Easter 1958. The notebook contains references for photographs numbered 1 - 1542.; many of the photographs are accompanied by a manuscript caption or note.', Photographs show various sites including (but not necessarily limited to) Agger, Auenat Vennin, Bab El Macnusa, Beni Ulid, Bir En-Nesma, Bir Tala, Bu-Njem, Edri, El Fjej, El Greifa, Gasr Bir Scedua, Gasr Channafes, Gasr Lahme, Gasr Laroccu, Gasr Nagazza, Germa, Ghelan, Gheriat El Gharbia, Gheriat Eas [Escarpment?, Ghirza, Gragra, Hun, J.
