Scope

'Photographs show marble fluting and acanthus and lotus and acanthus capitals. The reverse of the photographs feature serial numbers and the initials "J.B.W.P" [John B. Ward-Perkins. A number of the photographs have labels which mention Lepcis Magna, Pergamon/Pergamum, Smyrna and Sabratha; possibly intended for use as comparative material.'
