Scope

'Index cards pertaining to pottery sequences, including coarse ware and fine ware, finds at Sabratha. The index refers to pottery sequences "A-F, Pre-Forum, Y.I.i", "A-F, Immediately Pre-Forum, Y.I.ia", "E39, Temple of Serapis, Y.I.x", "J, Regio II Insula 5, Y.I.xvi", "R, Church 3", "T, Regio II Insula 6, Y.I.xxi", "V, Regio II Insuka 6, Y.I.xxii, "W, Regio Insula 7 and 7a, Y.I.xxiii" and "X, Insula 6 and 7, Y.I.xviv." The cards feature reference numbers, a brief description of the object, a location. There is a manuscript serial number beginning with "A" in the top-right corner of each card.'
