Scope

'Series of photographs from the excavations to Sabratha in the late 1940s and early 1950s; many of the photographs appear to be copies of images from the Ward Perkins series. Each photograph features a manuscript number on verso, 1 - 64b [it is possible that these numbers correspond with figure numbers - the photographs have been arranged by this number.', Photographs show general and aerial views of the Sabratha site, excavation work, finds, amphora, stone decoration, inscriptions and other aspects of the expeditions to the Tripolitanian site.'
