Scope
'Pastel book contains 24 black and white photographs of the 1951 expedition to Lepcis Magna and Sabratha. The photographs show excavations at both sites, finds, waste sherds, general views of the site and the individuals involved in the excavations, including the British team and locals. The volume also features a newspaper cutting of an article by Cedric N. Johns (Controller of Antiquities, Cyrenaica), "Ancient Colonies in Libya: New Discoveries by British Archaeologist" and cutting of a photograph, "The Restored Theatre at Leptis Magna".', Volume features manuscript title on front-cover, "Sabratha Leptis 1951".'
